COSTA RICA BLOGS
Country Blogs are a main part of Social Media nowadays. They help provide commentary or news on a particular subject or in this case, Costa Rica, where others function as more personal online diaries, like vacation experiences, fishing reports, events at a particular bar or theater, and general information. Blogs combines an array of text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, video, and related material to its topic.
Most Blogs have the ability for its readers to leave comments and and some have the ability of where one can subscribe to a Blog. An user will sign up, get on a email list, like Feedburner, and receive an email with a short describtion of a new post. Interactive and interfacing format is an important part. While many focus on graphics and photos, some are short paragraphs that are primarily textual. Photos also help support the content of the Blog, like the one we posted on Costa Rica's Crocodile Man.
Many are more specific and focus on art, nature and recreation, like surf reports. Microblogging is another type of blogging, featuring very short posts like Twitter and/or a comments that Facebook has.
