The International category is reserved for chartable organizations, unique products and services of countries that are unrestricted in international trade, commerce and finances as outlined by the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration.
Most think of international online trade as a complex system and usually cannot be explained as a simple preference for free trade or protectionism. Although trade usually benefits wealthy businesses it has not been that benefited Costa Rica - in fact it has widened the gap between rich and poor. Costa Rica has shown that some trade can be been harmful to the environment, when land is stripped to service the demand of a particular product - and one of the reason why the eco gurus are seeking help in protecting them. However, if Costa Rica reservations are addressed, an overwhelming majority says it would then support free trade -- suggesting that what resistance there is to the growth of trade is derived from pragmatic, not ideological concerns.
